Tasty Porridge With Berries

This is the perfect winter breakfast, for those chilly mornings, creamy texture, topped up with berries and few toasted almond flakes for the added protein. So very comforting, delicious!

Ingredients

  • PREP TIME: 3 minutes
  • COOK TIME: 5 minutes
  • SERVES: 2
  • Vegetarian (Vegan)
  • 80g Whole rolled porridge oats
  • 200ml Semi-skimmed milk (Alternative milk can be used)
  • 300ml Water
  • 15g Flaked toasted almonds
  • 150g Fat-free natural fromage frais

steps

  • Put oats in a saucepan with milk or alternative milk, add 300ml of water. Cover over a low heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until creamy
  • Pour into two bowls and top up with mixed berries and almond flakes.
  • Serve with fromage frais
