HEALTHY CUCUMBER LEMONADE

This is a healthy cucumber lemonade which you are going to love making.

An easy to make, hydrating and refreshing drink, with many potential health benefits. It can contribute towards weight loss, bone health and skin health. 

Cucumber is rich in water content and phytoestrogen, which makes it a wonder food for women. It can help to fight menopause symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats.

Ingredients

  • PREP TIME: 3 minutes
  • SERVES: 4
  • Calories: 149 Kcals
  • Vegetarian (Vegan)
  • 1 Large cucumber cut into chunks (keep few cucumber slices aside)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup honey or vegan substitude
  • juice of 7 lemons
  • 3-4 cups sparkling water

steps

  • Add the cucumber chunks, water, honey and lemon juice to your blender and blend on high speed until very smooth.
  • Pour the cucumber mixture into a large jug through a strainer to catch any pulp that remains.
  • Add the sparkling water to the jug along with some lemon and cucumber slices and ice if desired.
  • Pour into a glass with a few slices of lemon and cucumber and enjoy with cute paper straws!
