BANANA BREAD

Easy to make and packed with taste and nutrients. The perfect treat after a workout or any time!!

Ingredients

  • PREP TIME: 15 minutes
  • COOK TIME: – 50 – 55 minutes
  • CALORIES: 225 Kcals
  • SERVES: 12 slices
  • 3 Ripe Bananas, smashed
  • 3 Large Eggs
  • 60 g Butter or vegan spread
  • 250g Spelt Flour
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda

steps

  • Preheat the oven to 180C, gas mark 4
  • Place bananas, egg, butter, vanilla and honey in a bowl, and blend together.
  • Add flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt and mix well
  • Add the walnuts to mix
  • Spoon the batter into a greased and lined loaf tin and bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until brown and firm to the touch
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool before removing from the tin.
  • Slice and serve
