Ingredients
- PREP TIME: 15 minutes
- COOK TIME: – 50 – 55 minutes
- CALORIES: 225 Kcals
- SERVES: 12 slices
- 3 Ripe Bananas, smashed
- 3 Large Eggs
- 60 g Butter or vegan spread
- 250g Spelt Flour
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 1 tbsp Honey
- ½ tsp Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
steps
- Preheat the oven to 180C, gas mark 4
- Place bananas, egg, butter, vanilla and honey in a bowl, and blend together.
- Add flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt and mix well
- Add the walnuts to mix
- Spoon the batter into a greased and lined loaf tin and bake for 50 to 55 minutes or until brown and firm to the touch
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool before removing from the tin.
- Slice and serve
